Classes
There are eleven classes, each with three skill trees. Every hero starts with a basic attack and two class tools: focused damage (or a single-target companion) plus support, defense or utility. Starting kits do not grant damaging areas; group coverage comes from skill rewards or physical melee Splash gear. Boss and event rewards can add skills to the grimoire, and level-up skill points raise skills already learned. Each level also grants five freely assignable attribute points. Gear can require character level, Strength, Dexterity or a class. Energy adds 0.5% per point to a spell's own damage, including physical spells; it does not multiply weapon damage.
